Long solo drives = Better friendships

I have a pattern. Whenever I find myself on long drives where I'm going someplace by myself, I tend to randomly call a friend and (if they are free) we just have a agenda-less open ended conversation, like one should, with them. At the end of it, I feel extremely satisfied and fulfilled. Try it if you don't do this already. *** Context: I'm terrible at keeping in touch with family and friends. That doesn't mean I care less - it just means that I am really bad at nurturing ongoing communication. However, whenever I meet them in person, it's like we were never apart.
